Welcome to Shri Krishna Puja 2003, Canajoharie, August 8-10, 2003. This website has been created to facilitate your travel to Canajoharie and provide information regarding the puja weekend.

Transportation fees are included in the puja registration, and the arrangements will vary depending when you arrive. We may not be able to accommodate bookings made after Aug 3rd. Arrivals in Albany airport are preferred, but pick-ups will also be provided from JFK airport in New York City.

Group registrations are encouraged and we will make special arrangements to accomodate groups of 10 or more. If you are traveling in a group of 10 or more and need transportation to/from Canajoharie before/after the puja, and if you are the group coordinator please be sure to list the names of all yogis in your group in the "Transportation Request" form.

New York City Arrivals
Pickups will only be made at JFK airport. If you are arriving at La Guardia or Newark please click on Transportation between Airports to get information on how to get to JFK airport. It would be best to arrive no later than the morning of Friday, the 8th. The trip from New York to Canajoharie is about 5 hours by bus.

1.  Yellow Zone:  For arrivals Friday Aug 1st to Wednesday Aug 6th (one week before the puja weekend) our guests will be picked up at JFK airport ONLY, and taken to the homes of New York yogis until there are enough yogis to fill a van to travel to Canajoharie. Alternatively, you can request a ride to the Port Authority Bus Station in NY and take a bus to Albany where you will be picked up and taken to Canajoharie.
2.  Green Zone:  For arrivals Thursday Aug 7th and Friday Aug 8th you will be taken directly to Canajoharie. Vans and buses will leave for Canajoharie as they fill up, so be prepared that there may be a wait until the next trip. Please check the website before you leave for final details.
3.  Red Zone:  For arrivals Saturday morning Aug 9th, the last pickup is on Saturday 10:00 AM, otherwise, you will need to take public transportation directly to the Port Authority Bus Station and take the bus to Albany for pickup to Canajoharie. Please call the Canajoharie transportation number on Saturday morning to let us know your arrival time at the Albany bus station.

Albany Arrivals

1. For arrival Monday to Wednesday before puja weekend, there will be limited van pickups from the Albany airport and bus stations. If you reserve a pickup from Albany airport, PLEASE CALL THE CANAJOHARIE TRANSPORTATION NUMBER if you no longer require a pickup, or if you have arrived without a pickup reservation.
2. For arrival Thursday and Friday, vans will be parked at the airport from 9am to 10pm awaiting your arrival. Wait times should be very short, unless all vans are in transit to Canajoharie, whereby the maximum wait should be less than 2 hours. Pickups outside these times will be handled as best we can.

Departures
New York and Albany: Canajoharie departure times and tickets will be available Saturday morning at the transportation registration desk.
