We wish to welcome all of our dear brothers and sisters from every country to the shores of the land of Shri Krishna for a grand celebration of Navaratri Puja with Our Holy Mother. This website has been created to facilitate your travel.

At this time of great turmoil in the world, it is extremely impoprtant that the Sahaja Sangha gather in collective joy and celebrate the presence of positivity and divinity on the earth! We, the Sahaja Yogis of the Age of Satya Yuga can never be cowed by negativity, so let us gather together at the feet of Shri Mataji to light the lamps to dispel the darkness, and to emit the light of love to all people everywhere!

Important Update

For all those reaching New York before Friday, there will be no accomodations at the Nevele Grande, where the puja is to be held. However, we have found an inexpensive motel in the same town called the Village Motel, where rooms can be had for $60 per night, and four people will be able to share a room.

Transportation vans will take you to the Village Hotel from the airports and from the Village Hotel to the Nevele Grande on Friday.


TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION

Arrival - Except for Wednesday and Saturday, all SY transportation to the Navaratri Puja site will be by van or bus. Pickups will be available from 8am Thursday to 8pm Friday. Please find your SY greeter at the designated meeting area for your airport and they will escort you to the awaiting van. Please have at least one person from your group at the designated meeting area AT ALL times as the greeters will be riding in the vans and will not be permanently stationed at the airports, and they might miss you if you aren't there.

If you are arriving on Wednesday or Saturday, take the airport bus to the Port Authority in New York City, then take the Shortline (1-212-736-4702) bus to Ellenville, New York. There are four bus departures a day: 8:30am, 11:30am, 5:30pm, 8:15pm. The Nevele Grande is a 5-minute van ride away from the Ellenville bus station. Please call the transportation number (1-425-280-4223) when you arrive and we will send someone to pick you up.

Alternatively, you can rent a car, and use the driving direction link above to find your way to the puja site.

Departure - All SY transportation from the Nevele Grande on Monday to JFK and La Guardia airports will be by 50 passenger bus (transport to Newark may require a bus transfer - TBD). A prepaid ticket purchased at the puja site WILL BE REQUIRED for this transportation. Alternatively, you can take the public bus from Ellenville to Port Authority, then from Port Authority to your departure airport. Be sure seats are available and reserved for the time you need for your departure before declining the Sahaja Yoga transportation.

Collective Flights: - If you are part of any organized group flight, please DO NOT send an email INDIVIDUALLY. Only the flight organizer is asked to contact us; otherwise we get double-bookings.

We have more than adequate vans, buses and drivers for transportation so long delays should not be a problem as long as everyone REGISTERS for transportation. So please do so right away! Also, be sure to cancel or change your reservation if your plans should change.
