Important Annoucements
ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR ALL YOGIS

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Besides Shri Krishna Puja on Sunday and entertainment programs on Friday and Saturday night, we hope to have schedule of events appealing to the collective. Please see this site in the future for a schedule of daily events.

CHILDREN AND CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES
This year we will try to organize more supervised activities for the little ones, but remember to keep them under supervision so no one gets hurt or temporarily misplaced!

PARKING POLICY
Please park your vehicles in the parking lot behind the woods and follow all signs regarding parking restrictions, especially no parking in the road. We need to keep the road free to the kitchen and hanger for buses, for deliveries and for Shri Mataji to get through.

PET POLICY
Last year one yogi was badly bitten as he walked past a tent in the woods and surprised a dog tied up there. With 800+ yogis at the camp even tamed dogs can get overexcited. Please avoid bringing your pet this year. If you must bring them, remember the pooper scooper rule - there are many going barefoot!

POND USE
There is no lifeguard available. Parents please take personal responsibility to ensure children are supervised swimming and grownups remember to always swim with a buddy.

PUJA COST
Costs for the weekend are the same as in previous years. Please ask your center or country leader for exact costs but know that the price includes all fees and puja dakshina for the weekend beginning with Friday dinner Aug 8th through Sunday dinner Aug 11th. Charges before those dates and after are flat fee which will be posted at the camp.

REGISTRATION
As in past, please do registration by N. American center or country and pay as one group upon arrival. It is most auspicious for all to be paid well before the start of puja.

ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR AMERICAN HOST COUNTRIES

BANNER/FLAG PROJECT (108 names of Love) - HOST YOGIS
Host centers: please bring your assigned, completed banners directly to Canajoharie and give them to the info desk.

CAMP CLEAN UP - HOST YOGIS
Host yogis: remember to help clean up. Yogis are needed to stay after the puja for a few days to help close down the camp for the summer. This is a very big job and it's quite enjoyable to remain on Mother's land for several days and soak up the vibrations.

DANCING - HOST YOGIS
Host centers: please bring your dandia sticks.

ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM PARTICIPATION - HOST YOGIS
Host yogis: please contact Dave Dunphy ( [email protected] ) as soon as possible if interested in participating, but know that the schedule fills up fast and is changeable, so nothing is assured. Remember, it's a blessing to share our talents with others but words fail to describe the remarkable 'once in many lifetimes' opportunity to perform before the Adi Shakti. Professional level presentations are invited. If you're of a higher caliber talent, please take advantage of this moment and give it your best.

CAFE DONATIONS REQUESTED
Host Yogis: Donations for the Lotus Cafe are welcomed from everyone who is able. Please bring baked goods, dry fruits, nuts, cookies, packaged candy or a case or two of pop. Money generated from sales will help fund on going development of Nirmal Nagari and benefit the collective.

PRASAD - HOST YOGIS
Host yogis: please bring prasad clearly marked for Puja and take it upon arrival to the info area. Perishable prasad is fine and can be stored till Puja in the refrigeration truck. Remember, homemade is always preferable.

RAKHIS - HOST YOGIS
Host centers: yoginis are kindly requested to make 2 dozen rakhis to be used in the rakhi ceremony. Take them to the info area upon arrival. A separate email with an explanation of the ceremony and further instructions will be forthcoming.

FLOWERS FOR PRESENTATION FROM GUEST COUNTRIES:
In the past, flower bouquets have gladly been made available to county representatives for presentation to Shri Mataji with puja gifts. This year, we ask that the flower team be notified as soon as possible of these requests, by email if possible, and that the payment for these bouquets be brought to the flower tent as early in the weekend as possible. Please email Joanne at [email protected] with your requests.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES - HOST YOGIS
Host countries: North and South America are blessed to have the opportunity to host many brothers and sisters from abroad. They are the guests, we are not.
