Dallas, TX. As Americans everywhere celebrated our country's independence on
4th of July, a group of Sahaja Yogis from Texas and Oklahoma helped the seekers
of truth celebrate the independence of their Spirit by receiving our Divine Mother's
gift of Self Realization.
The Sahaj power started to build up since Friday night, as we were graced
with the presence of Yogis from Oklahoma and Australia. On Saturday morning
we had a "graduation party" for the 6 seekers from the Holistic Networker
Fair who have now been invited to join our advanced meetings, which also coincided
with a house-warming barbequeue for the new house. These strong seekers have
grown and witnessed miracles at a much faster pace than any of us experienced
in our Sahaj life. Some have realized the power of vibrations, bandhans and
paperburning, some the tremendous power of introspection Sahaja Yoga gives
("it's like a mirror in my hand, and I have to face it!"), and some
witnessed amazing curing miracles ("my glucose and cholesterol levels
dropped from sky-high levels - some over 1000 - to perfectly normal, after
only 5 weeks of practicing Sahaja Yoga"). One lady, when asked at the
follow up how was her first week after receiving her Self Realization, said "it
was a great week; I gave Realization to a lot of people" (!). Not only
that, but some of the people she gave it to gave it to others also. Several
have asked us already details about going to India Tour.
A Sahaja Yogi from Oklahoma shared with us another remarkable story from Purcell,
Oklahoma. After reserving a library room to start programs in a new place,
he called on Wednesday the local paper to place an ad. "Too late",
the lady said, "our paper appears on Thursday, and you're past the deadline.
But fax me the info and I'll see what I can do." Later on, when trying
to check that she had received the fax, the paper's manager got on the phone
and said "hey, you can't do this. We already received this fax on Monday,
and it's going to make it in tomorrow's edition!". The Yogi was stunned,
because nobody had sent a fax on Monday (he also checked with the library).
A true miracle of the Paramchaitanya. When we do God's work, God takes care
of our work !
After enjoying the collective meditation, Sahaja Yogis from Austin, San Antonio,
Irving, Arlington and Richardson, as well as a visiting Yogini from India,
gave Realization in the parks of Plano "LA style", using the same
poster boards that were used between Navaratri and Diwali last year. We didn't
have many people stop by that afternoon, but those who did seemed really deep
and many spent a long time talking to us and leaving their phone numbers. The
evening ended with a powerful bhajan session and a movie.
The next morning we headed out to the heart of downtown Dallas, where to our
surprise we encountered a steady stream of people not only from Dallas, but
also from everywhere else - whether from Houston, Oklahoma, Kansas or even
England, they were all eager to receive the divine gift of Self Realization!
What was noteworthy and at the same time beautiful, is that we had a lot of
purifying rain at the end of all three events. We could really feel how the
vibrations lifted up, and we promised ourselves to do this again and again.
The first repeat will be the next weekend of Guru Puja.
We are really grateful to our brothers and sisters who came from other cities
and created such collective power, fun and enjoyment, and above all to Shri
Mataji who gave us our Selves, and gave us each other.
