Article about Sahaja Yoga published in The Sun Downers Grove, a local paper in Chicago.
A photo of people meditating, and a headline about Sahaj took up the entire front page of the paper, and the article was inside.
Excerpt from the article:
Each Saturday morning, seven senior citizens gather in their group home to meditate through Sahaja yoga, trying to gain more balance and peace in their lives.
Nellie Garcia and Francesca McGarry are two of the volunteers who provide the free instruction for Sahaja yoga and explain the meditative process and benefits of the discipline. They run 30-minute sessions for the seniors at Senior Home Sharing in Lombard, which provides homes for lower-income area seniors who wish to maintain their independence.
Sahaja, which is offered throughout the Chicago area and may soon be introduced through the Downers Grove Park District, is free to participants.
