Greetings, felicitations and citations are flooding from all over the world from state's heads, governors, mayors, leaders in the communities, organizations etc, honoring H. H. Shri Mataji on Her 79th Birthday on March 21st. Some of these will be read at the Birthday function seminar in New Delhi, India, which will be attended by over 10,000 Sahaj Yogis and other distinguished guests from various parts of the world.
New York State Assembly in United States recorded the Citation stating:
Whereas, the people of the state of New York owe a great debt to those who live among us and who willingly give of themselves, sacrificing part of their lives serving humanity, giving of their time and energies advancing the best interests of their fellow men; and
Whereas on the occasion of her seventy-ninth birthday, the devoted followers and friends of just such a woman wish to acknowledge her distinguished career and to celebrate her accomplishments and to share in her joy, deep spiritual insight and her inspirational life that epitomizes the values of self-realization, responsibility and service to all mankind; now therefore be it
Resolved, that as a duly elected member of the New York State Assembly and on behalf of the speaker and the entire Assembly, I send greetings and commend
H. H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi
as a devoted and deeply religious person, one who is worthy of the esteem of both the great state of New York as well as the world at large.
