March 21st always seems to me as our birthday, which is a fact because we were born the second time because of this auspicious day, the day of the equinox.
The day seemed to be hot. Delhi is hot as usual these days. But as evening approached, there was a spat of drops of scattered drizzle on the way that was followed by a dusty storm, as we progressed to the Chhawla Gaon, Nirmal Nagri.
By the time it was 8 pm, the Sahaja Yogis placed themselves comfortable on the grassy lawn of this divine land in the main pendal. The climate was quite okay by then.
The pendal was so nicely decorated with colourful balloons and everything seemed be in balance with its own fragrance.
The backdrop of the stage sprang alive with the pictorial depiction of the Anand Tandav. This is in the mantra book. I recalled some time back a Sahaja Yogi from the Italian collective wrote regarding this particular picture by an unknown artist. Shri Mataji had once mentioned that the painting depicts and marks the advent of Shri Adi Shakti on Earth and all the deities — Shri Brahmha, Shri Vishnu, Shri Shiva, Shri Ganesh, Shri Kartikeya and others — are in cosmic ecstatic dance surrounding the chariot throne of Shri Adi Shakti. The picture was recovered from Harish Chandra Koli, of whom Shri Mataji often had spoken in earlier talks.
“Mother explained once how the artist (unknown to date) came to know that Shri Adi Shakti would come to the planet. The joy of all the deities can be seen and even the nature, along with the animals, are dancing, so as to express jubilance over the arrival of Shri Adi Shakti. She said that this is a very important painting, very beautiful and full of vibrations.”
However, the stage at the Birthday Puja seemed a live drama of the whole episode with a replay. A lot of vibrations could be felt. The Shri Adi Shakti’s throne was divinely decorated with simplicity. The bhajans started with the announcement that all who desired could have their dinners before the arrival of Shri Mataji — that is, before 9 pm. Beautiful classical bhajans were sung as we all went into meditation.
At 9:30 all the Sahaja Yogis were blessed with Her holy arrival. Mother was welcomed outside the pendal with processions representing various counties. There were fire displays. The night sky was well lit with the colourful sparkles of the firecrackers. Shri Mataji seemed very pleased with the collective. All were anxiously waiting to express their innerhappiness.
Shri Mataji spoke very compassionately. The first ten minutes were in Hindi and the next twenty-five minutes were in English. The talk started at 10 pm. The recollection of the talk is as follows:
I am watching how the love has spread throughout. The love knows no bounds, no religion or any other things.
Only after Self Realization, a Sahaja Yogi can feel the essence of this love. One can feel the love of this Paramchaitanya spreading. We don’t understand why one should hate others. It should not happen.
In the name of religion, why is there so much of hatred amongst the human being? Reactions always results into another action and reaction. This is how it carries on. It is to be judged how we should love and be loved and live harmoniously.
Love is like the innocence. For example, if we see our children, if someone beats our child, we do not say go and beat him. Instead, we must have the patience to pacify and be compassionate to teach our children good things. We must teach them the essence of love. The heart of a child is innocent. Why should we teach or speak to our child that you are Muslims and you are Hindu? The child gets confused within himself and thinks, “Why am I being told these things when we look alike?” They do not understand the religion.
Even in Sahaja Yoga, I find there is greed. There should be no greed or lust in Sahaja Yoga. It should be totally finished. Then only you will understand the love of the All-pervading Power or else how can you know Him?
Shri Mataji then spoke in English:
I was telling them that how love is to spread.
If you are matured in hatred, no one can save.
In our country, this kind of hatred was once not there. People were very mild. There was no violence. But now, there is so much hatred amongst all. Basically, we believe in peace. Without peace, no growth can take place.
If you have peace in your heart, you can grow to be a beautiful nation. The peace should be all around. People should emit peace. Anyone who goes near them should get that peace. Your spirit should emit peaceful vibrations by being in Sahaja Yoga. It is important that we have to grow in such an environment where we give peace.
Forgiveness is a very good method for understanding the pains of others. Try to develop peace within yourself through this divine love that is flowing.
The Sahaja Yogis should rise above all this hatred and anger. It is very difficult to speak to people who are not in Sahaja Yoga. So you should spread Sahaja Yoga to all religions, especially the Hindus. They have lost their patience and everything like love.
For example, there are people who do not want other people to build the temple of Shri Ram in Ayodya. Why deny the fact that He was incarnated there? Shri Ram was born in that small piece of land. All can just feel this now through vibrations.
In these days again, there are certain opinions of the hair of the Prophet in Kashmir. What right have they to say about these remains of the Prophet?
Once I was going by a car in Kashmir and I felt tremendous vibrations flowing. So I asked to be taken in that direction. There were a few Muslim huts there, so I asked them what are you doing here? They said it was the Hazrat Bal. See the very word has so much of vibrations.
People are fighting over Allah and Shri Ram. Do they know the meaning of these two words? Allah means Shri Vishnu and, in Sahaja Yoga, He is the Shri Ram. You are trying to fight over the name of Shri Ram. One should be a realized soul to feel the vibrations.
Unfortunately, people are not realized souls to understand this aspect. There would not have been any fight if the judges in the courts and the advocate had been realized souls and felt the vibrations. There would not have been any controversy regarding the decision.
Shri Ram was born there and it is a fact, you can all feel the vibrations. I don’t know how the Hindus came to know of this knowledge, that Shri Ram was born there. They wanted to build a temple there, so it is perfectly all right to build a temple in the place where Shri Ram was incarnated. But all should be a realized soul and all should get their Self Realization.
Somebody told Me that a mahant was given his Self Realization. A mahant means the saint, like a priest in church. But after Self Realization, everything got exposed. So, if you give Realization, automatically things get exposed. If you give Realization, people like mahant, they get exposed.
Through these vibrations, you can judge what is fact. What can I do, if, through Realization, spiritual people get exposed? So better do not give Realization to them.
To love someone, one has to learn the meaning of innocence.
India was once referred to as the most corrupt. But how far is it true? Even in Sahaja Yoga, it is found Sahaja Yogis are not spared. Every third person has the “epidemic of corruption.” Why do people run after money? Why have so much of greed? If we do not bother with money, it does not bother us. I don’t count money, so it doesn’t bother Me.
In Sahaja Yoga, you will have a lot of money, but we should not run after it. It is a fact that the rich are more greedy than the poor because the poor are fearful of God. Even in Sahaja Yoga people have made business. They get caught and then they start justifying.
This money and greed comes from the right side, so there is no place of love for the right-sided people. Money is the enemy of love. One has to attend that state where you are nirmal. No one can touch you. You should do all those things as a realized soul should do. One should be like the child Jesus said, “You have to be children to enter into the kingdom of God.”
This divine love can change the whole world. If you can help spread Sahaja Yoga. It will help in transformations. What you need is introspection and understanding.
The talk concluded at 10:35. With the offering water and the washing Her Holy Lotus Feet by 108 children, the puja was offered.
The puja started with the bhajans sung from the Indian songbook, Nirmalanjali. Instead of reciting the Shri Ganesh Atharvashirsham, Hemja Sutam Bhaje was sung. Then followed Namani Shri Ganaraje Dayal.
The vibrations flowed like a fountain. The atmosphere was getting cooler and cooler. This made the Sahaja Yogis bring out their warm clothing in this summer night of the 21st.
Before we could all wish Shri Mataji, the bhajan Janamdin Ayeo was sung. It seemed a fountain of happiness, the state of anand prevailed all the while. Then, with the greetings of “Happy Birthday” to Shri Mataji in chorus, the cake was cut by Shri Mataji.
Then followed Sir C.P. (Papaji) on another cake. He looked very compassionate and with love for all of us. Shri Mataji seemed to be very pleased.
The gifts came up slowly. Shri Mataji was very pleased with the representatives from various nations. From South America, She said She was extremely pleased with the progress. For Afghanistan, She gave a bandhan and blessing.
The announcement for the forthcoming Easter Puja was also made. It is to be in Istanbul, Turkey on the 19th, 20th and 21st, while the public program is scheduled for the 23rd.
Shri Mataji departed from the main pandal at 3 am, leaving enough vibrations behind for us to meditate. Jai Shri Mataji.
