Dear Sahaja Yogis,
Last week , here in Siberia the Annual Book Fair was conducted and we had the opportunity to have a Sahaja Yoga stall in the premises. Due to the blessings of Shri Mataji, our stall was the first in the line and so half of the game was won just in beginning. We had put on display all the lectures of Shri Mataji , books on Sahaja Yoga , books written by Sahaja yogis, international scientific and medical conferences held in Russia and abroad. The stall was decorated with flowers , charts, and draperies.
I was absent on the first day, but on the second day we had a huge crowd. Non yogi Russians are very skeptical about anything related to Divinity and so we had to be very tactful. First we invited them to play a game on attention and then we slowly we introduced the topic of “kundalini”. More than half of the visitors got their realization at the very moment. They were just asked to put their hands on their heart and the on the Sahasrara. Sometimes we asked them to put their hand on their forehead because it is quite difficult to ask them to say directly to forgive . So we said the same thing in different words and they use to do it.
The third day also we had a pool of visitors and on the last day we had a round table conference with other participants of the fair where they all agreed to the aims and objectives of Sahaja Yoga. We came to the conclusion that we have to work hand in hand with other humanitarian organizations ,who are devoted to the upliftment of human life on this earth. Obviously this can be achieved only through self –realization that we have to prove them.
Around 200 or more got their realization and the same number took Sahaja Yoga pamphlets eagerly. I had participated in a fair for the first time and it was tremendous experience for me , for example how to handle a crowd and still give them individual attention.
Jai Shri Mataji
