The Romanian collectivity feels very fortunate to invite you for the period between
6- 31 August 2004 to the
NirmalArt International Summer Camp in Romania, which will take place in the
Bogda village in a
very beautifull hilly area near forest, 50 km away from the Hungarian border
and 40 km away from Timisoara, the city
which was vibrated by the presence of our Holy Mother in 1992, when She blessed
us with an auspicious Diwali Puja.

Last year "Sahaja Yoga - Romania" organized
a wonderful summer camp
for music with the Romanian "Sangeet
Lahari" sahaj group in the mountains. Even though we thought that only
few people will come, it turned out to be a
great success and we had many brothers and sisters from outside Romania also.
Many yogis who didn't think they
could sing or play an instrument discovered a great potential inside themselves,
and for one month the sweet sound of
music filled all the hearts with pure joy.
This year we have decided to make it an international summer camp, so that
more
many sahaja yogis could join in
this great festival of pure art & pure joy. Apart from music, the yogis
will be able to learn the basics of kathak indian
classical dance, painting, sculpture and ceramic work. We will have lovely
teachers who first of all are lovely yogis and
who are very eager to share their knowledge with you.
In the field of Indian
classical music, one can learn:
- harmonium, classical vocal and bhajans
- with Mimi Sturza
- tabla, dholak, bhajans and sahaj mantras - with Sudhir
Bunda
- flute, guitar and synthetiser - with Andrei Dascalu
- trumpet - with Dan Huides
If you have your own instrument which is different
from the ones mentioned above, you can learn indian classical
music on your own instrument. There are few instruments on which you can
study in the camp, but the yogis who have
their own harmoniums, tablas etc are encouraged to bring them to the camp.
Kathak
classical dance can be learned with Anda Albutiu Painting - with Steluta
Nistorescu Sculpture and ceramic work/pottery - with Serban Vrabiescu.
First of all it is a sahaj camp and all the sahaja yogis are most welcome,
even if they just wish to be in the middle of
the collectivity and enjoy, not dedicating to a particular studying.
The
cost for one day (including accomodation, food and lessons) is of 10 Euro.
There are 68 beds in the camp in
rooms of 2 and 6 beds and a lot of place for people coming with their
sleeping bags. Showers with hot water, many
tables for table-tennis (we will have small championships), a large
swimming pool - all the comfort for us to fully enjoy
our time there.
Shri Krishna Puja on national level and the raksha-bandhan ceremony
will be celebrated in the camp.
We will be back with other details about how to reach NirmalArt camp
in Bogda, Romania.
