Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We would like to invite you all to enjoy time spent together at a music and theatre festival "Borotin 02 – two beautiful summer days without alcohol and drugs".
Where?
Sahaj kindergarten in Borotin, 30 km north from Brno, the Czech Republic. Evening concerts will take place in a sport facility near to the kindergarten, creative workshops in the kindergarten estate itself.
Why?
Sahaja yogis from the Czech Republic and Slovakia (mainly Yuva Shakti) are organizing this festival to show people how to have fun together without any artificial “help” from alcohol and other such stimulants. For that we need your physical and vibrational support.
What is it?
It is a second year of the festival where we are trying to get closer to the seekers and to give them a chance to find themselves. Throughout the whole festival, seekers can enjoy concerts of multi-range music groups such as folk, jazz, rock, pop, flamenco, sahaj Indian music performed by magnificent romanian bhajan group Sangeet Lahari, and others…
On Saturday, there will be interesting workshops going on (henna painting, juggling, painting on T-shirts, little music workshop, baking chapaties, …), where you can either help or just enjoy your creativity.
Very important part of the festival is a meditation workshop. One will be in the area of the kindergarten and the second one in a tee-pee close to the music stage at the sport facility.
When?
The festival is from 30th July – 1st August 2004 (Friday afternoon – Sunday early morning)
You are invited to come a few days earlier to help with organizing and preparing concerts, workshops and meals, because there is always a lot to do.
Accommodation:
Sahaja yogis can sleep in the kindergarten facility or in their own tents (if they bring some). The house of the kindergarten is not fully rebuilt yet therefore you are all asked to bring your own sleeping bags. You can expect the more or less same conditions as in Cabella. However, there are some fully equipped rooms so we will try to accommodate comfortably enough as many ladies as possible and all the children.
Registration:
All the sahaja yogis are kindly asked to register before coming to the festival. This is due to limited accommodation capacity and other organizational reasons. If, however, somebody would find this too complicated or impossible, you are much welcome anyway.
You can register by simply sending an email to the address: festival@nirmala.cz.
In the e-mail you should write your name, nationality, and exact date of your arrival and departure. It would be very nice; if you could further specify this as to at what time (meal) you will arrive e. g. Wednesday dinner, Friday lunch etc. This would be very much appreciated.
In case you plan not to arrive straight to Borotin, please, let us know the exact place and time of your arrival so that we can organize a lift to Borotin for you.
Transportation details:
You can come to the Czech Republic by car, train, bus or aeroplane. We are sorry to say you most probably cannot use a ship.
For those coming by car there should be no problem to find out Borotin on the map. It is a small village some 12 km east from Letovice, which is situated on the main route from Brno heading north in direction of Svitavy.
Those coming by bus or train may arrive to Brno or else Letovice.
For those coming by aeroplane there is regular bus line straight from the Prague airport to Brno, operated by company Student Agency. They offer comfortable couches.
Once arrived to Brno or Letovice, you can be escorted to Borotin by some of the organizers.
All the yogis are requested not to bring any dogs or other pets to Borotin due to limited accommodation capacity.
