Delhi, India - On March 23rd, India's national and world coordinator, Mr. V.J. Nalgirkar, read the felicitations that were sent especially for the occasion of the birthday of Her Holiness Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi.
Out of the forty-five, he read out a summary of the important ones that represented various heads and members of their respective councils from countries like the USA, Canada, Austria, China, Russia and Europe, various government officials and senators from states.
 The honourable Sir C.P. Srivastava KCMG made a very beautiful speech on the occasion. He reminded us that a year or two ago he had made a statement and got us committed to gift our holy Mother with eighty million Sahaja Yogis across the globe when She turns eighty. So we have one year ahead to work hard to transform people around the globe. He said that he was grateful to all the Sahaja Yogis present at the occasion and felt very fortunate to be amongst them. He said that we, the Sahaja Yogis, had the privilege of being present at this very special occasion. This gathering was a very important one.
He continued, saying that he felt that he was in the presence of Divinity and that we Sahaja Yogis were the angels. He very humbly confided that he considers himself to be an apprentice Sahaja Yogi, unlike the ones sitting across with spread palms before our Holy Mother.
He further said that he had a different historical perspective regarding Sahaja Yoga. He beautifully expressed that in the beginning of human existence, only might was right and then, when humans became civilized over the period of time, there was a chaotic situation. People were stealing, killing and they behaved in all kinds of ways.
Then in the human existence came the incarnations, one after another, in different parts of the world. They brought religions. But the religion which was intended to civilize humanity, tended to compartmentalize and divide the religions. Each religion was great by nature, but each started claiming that the follower of the religion had their own almighty God. So how can you have an almighty God for Hindus, an almighty God for Christians and an almighty God for Islam, etc. How can so many almighty Gods exist? You have to have only one.
He said our Holy Mother brought forth this vision, that all human beings born are children of one almighty God. She says the world needs to be transformed to be elevated from this divided world to the higher level of existence, where there will be a single religion, one human family comprising six billion people. We were the "ambassadors of Her will" to carry forward Her vision across the world. We, "the instruments of Her will," must be committed to this day, to help transform the world. She has to achieve more and the love of the Sahaja Yogis can certainly help achieve the task to transform the world through the spread of Sahaja Yoga.
Then Her Holiness Shri Mataji blessed us with Her Divine message that flowed like nectar (amrut vaani), with compassion and full of humility. It was the love of Mother that was flowing like a fountain for the children, who were trying to seek joy, sitting in meditation, to not to miss a single drop of that nectar. Here are a few recollections of the talk by H.H. Shri Mataji and Her message to all the Sahaja Yogis and to the world
"This felicitation function is a little embarrassing for Me. I was born as a very simple person and I have been extremely simple. I don't understand money, I don't understand greed and I don't understand hatred. I am so simple about it. Despite that, you people give and have got your Realization. It's your achievement. It's your own desire that you have achieved. I find so many children nowadays are born realized souls."
It is in My life this was to happen. It is everybody's lot, I think, like Shri Rama, then came Shri Krishna, then Shri Jesus and then came other incarnations. It was their time. And in My time it is to give Realization. But, I must say, you have taken it heartily and sweetly and it's your power to transform.
Shri Mataji then spoke of love. She said, "The other day I was talking of love. Now the love, as it is understood, should be very pure. You have the ocean of love that resides in your Sahasrara. When your Sahasrara is filled with love, your life is changed. You don't become an intelligent man or a very dynamic personality, but you become nothing but love. This love is so self-satisfying."
Holy Mother said the Sahasrara is the source of all truth. The truth is the knowledge and also love. If you love somebody, you know the truth about that person. Immediately, you know what is wrong or what is right about that person. Because of your love, you encompass the whole atmosphere between you and him and/or between you and the other. You don't see bad points easily.
Speaking on this subject of picking up bad points, "She also said, "Many people say, 'You have been cheated.' Yes because I have no sense of what is cheating. I don't feel disturbed at all. But certainly this felicitation embarrasses Me definitely because I have not done anything so extraordinary, as they think. Extraordinary is that whatever capacity you have, if it acts, then it is there like love. I have tremendous love with in Me. I have no vision, I must tell you." Everybody must love and the love will change the whole world. The love has to come.
Shri Mataji said, "Because you have pierced through your Sahasrara, for every Sahaja Yogi love should be a very natural thing."
She said, "Love resides in Sahasrara and you see the waves of this love flow from there. When there is love, you are satisfied. You are just not bothered whether anyone is troubling you or not." You are not bothered whether others love you or not. You only find the enjoyment. Once you have entered in Sahaja Yoga, you have entered in Sahasrara. "This felicitation reflects all those, but it is not important for Me."
She said, "Every human being cares for love, whether he earns a lot of money or not. I have not made this theory.... It only is that way." For example, I know sometimes people are rude and they have certain rules and regulations and then they get angry and they may have position. They may use their position and then they get angry. Even to get after someone, they get angry. But they have missed the point. If you have love, that pure love, you see that's why he is doing. Gradually, everything nullifies. I see many talking ill of Me. So what? It is they who are indulging in something ... which does not bother Me
Shri Mataji said, "You are the ocean of beautiful feelings. When you are filled with that ocean you are satisfied. What is important is can you feel the love of others. You cannot artificially say, 'I am joyous.' Can you feel the sweetness?"
Speaking on sweetness, She referred to the sweetness of a child. As you may see the little child, they are so sweet. She said, "Now I would suggest innocence is the sign of love. If you have love, you can correct people, as love is the supreme intelligence. It works out. People say it's a miracle. It is not a miracle. It acts. It's love. It's the Divine that works. And the Divine wants that you should get the Sahaja Yoga and become a yogi." That's why you love. "Love is not a dead thing. It is not the Dead Sea. It not only thinks, but also works." Now the Divine loves you and that's why it works.
On the topic of doubt, She warned that "Say, I love everyone very much and trust everybody. I never doubt to begin with, but they are sinking and sinking. I give a chance, but they get exposed when they use certain tricks."
Referring to this, Mother cited an example of a Sahaja Yogi from Dubai. He said that "Mother, I don't want to give any more Realization to very high level personalities or VIPs." Mother inquired why. He said, "Mother, whomever I give Realization, they get somehow exposed at a later date." Mother cited an example that appeared in the newspaper of an erstwhile Noble Peace Prize winner, who was given Realization and then he was exposed overnight. So the yogi said, "I do not want to give it any more."
In this reference, Mother said, "You go on giving. If the Divine wants the person to get exposed, he will get exposed." But it is the desire of the Divine that you give. She said it is for the love that the man wanted to give Realization, that something good should happen to that man. But if he is to be exposed, it is the Divine who wants it. It is that love which works ultimately.
Again, on encountering accidents, Mother spoke. "Somebody who gets Realization and meets with an accident, of course, he will be saved. But what is the reason that he meets with the accident, though he is protected? If you go against and do all asahaja (anti-Sahaja) activity, you can suffer.
Adding to this, Shri Mataji said, "It is like you are standing in a place which is peace-giving and joyous and you want to go out of it, then you have it. You can't help it. It's like a fortress, a secluded place with comforts and attention. And now you want to go out. It is your choice."
She said that human intelligence is not that high quality to compete with that of Divinity. It is basically the love that is Divine, that is nourishing. "To know Self is to love. People may call it selfish. But no, it is not."
She reminded us to introspect, "Do I have love within me?" She also said, at times, love can be bounded and limited like loving one's country, like one may say, "I am from India and anyone speaking ill about it can be dealt with dire actions." This happens with all. One may go to the extent of hitting. Thus, one has limited love. In fact, She said, "Love should be open. Then you will find where you stand. You need not fight. It gives complete knowledge to a person.
She then said with compassion, "You are all lucky people that you have reached the Sahasrara or are in Sahaja Yoga. But who are not realized or in Sahaja Yoga, they cannot get what you have got. Love can be got through meditation. With meditation, you can realize the love. If you are meditating with distracted attention, like 'What he is doing?' or 'What ornament she is putting' or you are angry with someone, you don't love yourself. As you meditate, it gets cleansed from within.
"Love gives a complete idea of yourself. You will be amazed that love is the truth and love is the knowledge." I will not blame those who are not realized or not completely realized, as they have no light within them. They don't know what is love.
"Love is, in fact, universal. That is why Sahaja Yoga is also universal, as the love is universal."
Saying this, Shri Mataji cited a beautiful example of the love relationship of a grandchild and the grandmother, especially in India. They share complete and pure love. "You feel elevated. You enjoy that love. If there is no purity, you cannot enjoy that love."
So, I request you to find out that ocean in your head that is in your Sahasrara, which is filled with love and is being filled by your heart.
There was a very enigmatic relationship that Mother revealed to us. She said, "The heart and the Sahasrara are very much in relationship with each other. This style is such that if the heart of somebody is not all right, the head also will not be all right. Again, when the head is not all right in a person, the heart also won't be all right.
"But it is more a reflection from head to the heart. They say genes are bad.... But after Sahaja Yoga, you are changed. The genes are changed. Your head and heart are filled with light and you are bouncing with love, like joy or humour, that you have got it. So now you enjoy it."
She continued, saying that elements of caste or fundamentalism and jealousy must be dropped. "If you have jungles of all nonsensical things in mind, then all kinds of animals creep in." With this power of love, you will not dominate or despise anyone else and will not control someone. "Love is extremely correcting and joy-giving." You will be amazed how you can manage everything yourself with this love.
Relating to this, Mother cited another example of a Sahaja Yogi who despised and hated his uncle for whatever reason. But, after his Self Realization, once in the race course he met his uncle and came near him and hugged him with his arms and said, "I love you."
The confused uncle was taken aback by the gesture. He asked, "What's this now? What do you want?"
The boy said, "Nothing ... just only that I love you." So this is the kind of love that grows. She said, "It is like the ocean that touches every shore and makes the sound of love, beautiful sounds of love and then returns. It never gets tired.
Concluding, She remarked that to be born in Kaliyuga and to do all these tasks was difficult, but that did not keep Mother from doing all this effortlessly, despite Her health and obstacles across the globe. She said, "Whatever happens, She was working it out of love."
She concluded by saying and wishing that "I have enjoyed all of you." |
