By the grace of Shri Mataji, we are very pleased to announce that the Canajoharie
Sahaj School will be opening this September. The aim of the school will be to
encourage and nurture the full development of our children (spiritually, morally,
intellectually, esthetically, and physically) by applying Shri Mataji's enlightened
principles of education.
The educational and the development approach will follow Shri Mataji's guidance
of allowing each child to develop personality and individuality and yet retain
the ability to relate, work, share and play harmoniously. Self-discovery and
balance will be cultivated through meditation and applying Sahaja techniques
in an atmosphere of collective joy.
Another great benefit of Sahaja schools that it fosters unique relationships
among the students, which establish purity, innocence, and awareness of chastity.
Practical Information:
- For the first term, we will be starting with children pre-K and Kindergarten
(No younger than 4)
NOTE: We are also working towards getting the necessary approvals for Grade
1 and above. There is a possibility that we may be able to cater up to Grade
3 from the first term itself.
- The school year will be split into two terms.
- The first term will be from September through December.
- The second term will be from the March through June.
- School fees will be as follows and they will cover all costs of tuition,
room, and board (Discounts will be available for 2 or more children per family)
- One time Registration fee - $300 (Must be deposited with the first month
fee)
- Monthly fee - Approx. between $500 - $600
The subjects will include language arts (reading and writing), mathematics,
sahaja yoga knowledge, science, arts and Crafts, Music and dance etc.

FOR ALL PARENTS: Please fill-out the attached
preliminary registration form and return it to Aron by August 4th to be
eligible for the first term. A formal form will be sent to you later.
P.S. There will be a school registration booth at Shri Krishna Puja seminar
in Los Angeles. Aron and others will be there to answer questions regarding
the school.
