You will know that H.H. SHRI MATAJI NIRMALA DEVI inaugurated an NGO (Non Government Organisation) called VISHWA NIRMALA PREM ASHRAM a couple of years ago. This is situated in GREATER NOIDA, Plot No.9, Institutional Area, U.P - 201308, India.
This is a HOME FOR DESTITUTE WOMEN AND ORPHAN CHILDREN WITH a FOCUS ON GIRLS. We have 21 girls, most of them full orphans, in the age between 5 and 12 years of age. They will stay with us permanently until they are grown up. After that they will study, or we will find them a job or help them get married. The Ashram is also providing temporary stay and vocational training for helpless women (widows or deserted by their husband). They can stay along with their children. After a period from 6 to 24 months, they are expected to earn their livelihood independently and lead their life with dignity. At present, we have a reasonable number of destitute women.
We request all Indian Sahaja Yogis to help us to find more women with good morals and orphan girls between 2 and 8 years and send them to our Ashram.
At present, we do not have enough staff members to take care of the children. We are in search of a well educated SAHAJA YOGINI, who is also a trained psychologist. She should be able to work with us as a volunteer, and should be prepared to work for a nominal salary. Knowledge of Hindi and English is necessary. She has to teach the children, and do counseling for the children and the women. We also need a lady accountant.
We have a computer teacher who comes to train the older students on computer studies in the evening. We run courses for Tailoring and for a Beauty Parlour. Two of our destitute women are stitching salwar suits for our stall in the camp at Pune, during the Shivratri and Birthday Puja programmes.
You are requested to please buy some items from these stalls, when you come for the Puja programme. This will in turn benefit the NGO.
All the children in the Ashram are going to an English Medium Public School. They each need two school uniforms with winter wear, shoes, stockings and a school bag. They also need books, notebooks etc. and school bus fees.
