Dear Yogis of the World,
It gives us great pleasure and joy to provide final and updated information regarding the Realize America 2005 tour that will indeed be taking place this summer. At this is the first tour of its kind, we have decided upon a route along the East Coast rather than the original announcement of East to West Coast. The new route promises to be as enjoyable yet much more practical in the spreading of Sahaja in the United States. Therefore, join us as we ride a wave of vibrations down America's East Coast from majestic Maine down along the Atlantic Ocean to the magic of Miami in Florida. Lasting 30 days starting in Portland, Maine on July 15 and ending August 14th back in Maine, we will not only give Self Realization to the masses, but we'll also experience the beauty, serenity and power of some of America's history and charm with stops in the Nation's oldest cities and towns.
Yogis are now arranging for the tour to participate in fairs along the way, to have programs in parks, malls, community centers, camps, on beaches, and other venues, and to just go out there and give Realization. Hopefully we'll create quite a buzz, rolling into town with our Realize America vans, setting up here and there with banners and tents, inviting all seekers to come and find out for themselves what we are so excited about that we can spend a month traveling in order to share it with them.
The tour is also a seminar; a time spent together with other yogis, those going on the tour itself, as well the yogis of the supporting collectives. There will be foot-soaks in the Atlantic Ocean, collective picnics in parks, visits to historical and auspicious monuments, and more!
Participation Details:
The tour arrangements are being made for 30 yogis. These arrangements include stay at yogis houses wherever possible or alternative stay arrangements and transportation. Arrangements will be made wherever possible for evening meals and breakfast but daytime meals will be your own responsibility. The participating collectives are busy making these arrangements and are waiting with open arms to welcome the tour to their cities!
It is also possible for yogis to unofficially join us by driving their own cars along with the caravan for part or whole tour; however we can not guarantee arrangements for accommodations and food for people beyond the 30. Therefore, we request you to make your own arrangements but do let us know that you will join us so that we can be prepared for the numbers involved in the events for each city.
Due to strong support from our first emailing, you are encouraged to reserve one of the 30 spaces ASAP in order to guarantee a place. Space will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Please don't delay and let us know your desire today!
 Age Limits:
Everybody is invited but considering the length of the tour, it is being restricted to age above 14. If you are between the age of 14-18, you will need to be accompanied by your parents or have one of the touring adult yogis sign up as your guardian.
Cost:
- Full Tour - $550
- Part Tour - $25 per day
For those driving their own vehicles alongside the tour-vans, cost is yet to be determined. This depends on tour participation and how many yogis want to use the prepaid tour-vans.
This cost includes stay, riding the tour-vans and evening meals/breakfast wherever possible. You will have to make your own arrangements to arrive and depart from the places where you plan to join and leave the tour.
Not covered by tour fees are individual event admissions (when applicable), personal incidentals and restaurant food. It is recommended to bring extra money for these expenses.
Yuva Shakti participation in the tour is greatly encouraged. We do understand the financial constraints that some individuals may face and are ready to work with you on a case by case basis. Guru Puja Weekend - Since the Guru Puja weekend will happen during the tour, arrangements have been made for you to enjoy this weekend in Canajoharie. The Puja cost will be $45 in addition to the tour cost.

Arrivals:
You will need to fly in to Portland, Maine. You can fly into Boston Logan airport if that's cheaper for you and take a direct shuttle (Concord Trailways, reservations not necessary) from the boston airport to Portland where arrangements can be made to pick you up. Please try to arrive on July 15th itself in Maine. It will be difficult to make arrangements if you are arriving prior to that date.
Departures:
You can fly out at the end of the tour from Miami or you can ride in the tour vans back to Portland Maine or Boston on a 2-3 day trip.
