Dear brothers and sisters,
This week is a very special one for France. It was already special as today, Saturday we will begin the 2005 'Tour de France', the fourth year that Sahaja Yoga France takes two months 'holidays' (July 9 to September 12) to spread Sahaja Yoga all around France, with this time, a stop in Belgium as well. We will be joined by the Romanian Qawaali group and so it will be a summer of music, spiritual inspiration and realisation for the French. It's a great joy to see that America and the Baltic countries have also taken up the 'Tour' idea and maybe next year we we will see a full European Tour.
To top it off, on Monday evening, we learnt that Shri Mataji would have a brief stopover in Paris on Her way to the United States on Tuesday morning. Originally She would have only an hour between flights, so we were trying to work out how to get Majid inside the transfer zone to offer flowers and love on our behalf. On Tuesday morning the ladies were busy, busy--making snacks that we were hoping to send inside with Majid for Shri Mataji and Her entourage. And then at around 10h30 (the plane was arriving at 12 midday), we learnt that the ongoing flight would be delayed by 3 hours and so Shri Mataji could actually come out of the transit zone. We managed to arrange a couple of rooms in a nearby hotel, to ensure the transfer details for Shri Mataji's comfort and we at home changed the 'plan', collected whatever we thought would be needed and raced off to the hotel to receive Her.
And not even two hours later, there She was, absolutely radiant, so beautiful and sitting with us in Paris!!! A dream so unbelievable, but oh so wonderful. I asked Her how She was and how the trip was, 'Very good' was the answer to both questions, with a smile. We were priviliged to be able to offer Her aartii, some small gifts and flowers, and of course the snacks. Shri Mataji and Sir CP were very relaxed and we spent a wonderful hour in their presence. Shri Mataji then rested for a half an hour and it was already time to go. We all crowded around Shri Mataji in the transfer van and then very quickly and smoothly She was through customs and on Her way to the USA.
What more could France hope for, three days before the summer realisation programme kicks off--to have Shri Adi Shakti's hallowed Feet on its soil?
