All the yogis here are feeling very honored that Shri Mataji has come to New York, and are enjoying the strong and soothing vibrations flowing from Her House. We are happy to share some more pictures and anecdotes from Her stay here.
On Tuesday evening, July 12th, we asked Shri Mataji if She wanted to watch a
movie. She replied that She would like to listen to a music performance,
preferably sitar. Since no one was available who played sitar, a western yogini who plays classical guitar performed before Shri Mataji and Sir CP.
While she was playing, the yogis who were attending to Shri Mataji and those in the New Jersey ashram gathered and then entered Her living room to sing bhajans. We sang five bhajans, some slow, some fast, including a solo song with tanpura. While we were singing, Sir CP was very lovingly patting Shri Mataji's arm, asking from time to time what She would like to hear next.
On Wednesday evening, Sir CP had to go out for a medical appointment. While he was gone, Shri Mataji repeatedly asked about him, expressing Her love and concern for him. She would not eat Her dinner until She had heard that he had already eaten. It was very touching to see this close relationship between husband and wife so sweetly demonstrated.
For the last two days, She has met with Paul, Gagan, and Manoj about the incorporation of the World Council in the U.S. She listened carefully and gave guidance about various aspects of the plans.
Since She has come here, every day there are some amazing new developments in the establishment of Sahaja Yoga worldwide. Today the acquisition of Shri Mataji's birthplace in Chindwara was completed, and Sahaja Yoga now has complete ownership of this holy place. There will be more news on this to follow in a few days.
Please enjoy the pictures!
