It is with great pleasure that we announce the arrangements for the upcoming Guru Puja 2005 in joyful anticipation of your arrival at the Sheraton Meadowlands in East Rutherford, New Jersey, USA. We are planning for entertainment Friday and Saturday nights, and are anticipating Guru puja with our Holy Mother and Beloved Guru on Sunday. More details will be forthcoming upon your arrival.
REGISTRATION
Registration costs are being finalized at this point but will be approximately the same, or perhaps a little higher than the Los Angeles, USA pujas last year. Your center or country leader will have this information by the end of the day Tuesday, July 19th.
Yogis arriving early or staying late can reserve a room at Sheraton Meadowlands in East Rutherford, NJ at the discounted rate of $112 (including taxes). A maximum of 3 persons can share a room with King (1 large) bed, and 4 persons for a Double (2 medium) bed. TRANSPORTATION
We have contracted a very good rate with TBT Limousine for both arrivals/departures at Newark International Airport, which is about a 20 minute ride to/from the Sheraton Meadowlands hotel.
Please see instructions below for making and confirming your reservation for Newark Airport.
If you are arriving from JFK or LaGuardia, then follow instructions below for transportation options to the Newark Airport, or directly to the hotel.
FROM NEWARK AIRPORT
Please make your reservation directly with the transportation company TBT before you leave on your flight, preferably 24 hours in advance. Once you arrive at Newark Airport, call their toll free number from any payphone, let them know you have arrived, and they will instruct you what to do. They may greet you with a sign with your name (or group name) as you enter in the baggage claim area, or possibly ask you to meet them at a specific location. Please listen carefully and follow their instructions.

Arrivals at Ewr going to Sheraton Meadowlands - $18.00 total per person cash price, including tolls and gratuities.
Advance reservations are required. We monitor flights, and ask travelers to call our 1-800-654-6642 after they retrieve their luggage for guidance for pickup.
TBT Limousine will be on site at the hotel after Sunday lunch (or brunch?) to take departure reservations for transport back to Newark Airport. Departures costs - $14.00 total per person cash price, including tolls and gratuities.

FROM JFK AIRPORT
There is an Airporter shuttle from JFK to Newark Airport. The price is $24. You will need to make a reservation for this shuttle as well as a separate reservation with TBT Limo in the instructions above, for transport from Newark Airport to the Sheraton Meadowlands.
Please note in the departure times below, that the Airporter does not run from JFK to Newark after 7pm (1900). Airporter departs from JFK to Newark at: 9am, 11am, 1pm, then hourly 3pm-7pm. If you arrive after 7pm, you can negotiate with a private taxi/shuttle/limo for yourself or your group, or you can reserve a pickup with TBT Limo (info above) for transport directly to the Sheraton Meadowlands. TBT Limo has pretty good rates from JFK if you are a group of 4 or more. Of course, you can always rent a car as well, which may actually be a cheaper solution for smaller groups.
FROM LAGUARDIA AIRPORT
You can negotiate with a private taxi/shuttle/limo for yourself or your group, or you can reserve a pickup with TBT Limo (info above) for transport directly to the Sheraton Meadowlands. TBT Limo has pretty good rates from LaGuardia if you are a group of 4 or more. Of course, you can always rent a car as well, which may actually be a cheaper solution for smaller groups.
CHILDREN'S ACTVITIES
We would like to invite all the parents and children from 3 to 12 years old attending Guru Puja to participate in the children's activities during the weekend. We are preparing games and entertainments for the children with the intention of teaching and imbibing them with Sahaja values.
The activities will start shortly after lunch on Saturday and Sunday and will end before the evening presentations and Puja. Children less than 6 years old are required to have at least one parent, or older responsible sibling to participate as a support for the coordinators. The Yuva Shakti and Sahaja Yogis from the host countries, which enjoy being with children are more than welcome to join us as coordinators or volunteers.
All SahajaYogis interested in taking part in this event during the Guru Puja in NJ, with ideas or as a volunteer, please contact Eron at eron108@gmail.com. We also need to have an idea of how many children are participating. Parents should register their children no later than Thursday by sending an email (eron108@gmail.com) with their child's name and age.
