With Shri Mataji's kind permission, a short violin concert was arranged for Sunday evening, August 21.
A professional New York violinist and a sahaja yogi, Asmira, played a selection of Bach.
Asmira has played many times in the presence of Shri Mataji before and Shri Mataji was
very happy to see her. She also accompanied by Celeste, who demonstrated her exquisite
classical vocal range learned during her stay at the Music Academy.
After the violin concert, Sir C.P. asked Shri Mataji if She would like to hear
some bhajans, and She gave a wonderful smile and replied in Hindi, "if that is
their desire."
The evening concluded with "Sitting in the Heart of the Universe" and "Jai Jai Bhavani." Some prasad was
offered, and then the room full of yogis quietly emptied out.
