Suriname Realization Project

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

With great enthusiasm we would like to tell you about the planned Suriname Realization Project.

Suriname is a small country in the north coast of South America. Colonized by the Dutch, it has a varied cultural background. People from India, China, Philippines, Guyana, Holland and Brazil call it home. The official language is Dutch, however people speak Hindi, Javanese, Chinese, Lebanese, English, Portuguese and of course Surinamese, which is a mixture of the different languages.

Suriname is a multicultural country where different races are harmoniously living together enjoying each other’s food, cultural activities and religious ceremonies.

Temples, mosques, churches or synagogues right beside each other in one street are a normal view in Suriname.

That means it is the RIGHT TIME to introduce Sahaja Yoga there.

From the Aruban collective, Dorothy and Eric Jong, will be traveling for Suriname on Friday August 4 and will be there till August 27, 2006.

  • Are there any yogis who are interested in joining them?
  • Are there any yogis who can stay there longer and help establish a collective?

Depending on your field you could also try to find a job in Suriname. If it is not possible to stay for a few months we could also succeed by having different yogis overlapping each other by spending their holidays in Suriname.

The people of Suriname are ready to receive Mother in their heart. The country really needs the awakening of the Kundalini.

Suriname is a very beautiful country, especially for those who like nature, bush, waterfalls, birds, orchids historical monuments, cultural events and of course a tropical climate.

The people are very friendly and spontaneous, which will make it easy to combine spreading Sahaja yoga with your vacation.

For more historical, geographical, tourist and other info on houses, cars, newspapers, phone # or jobs we hereby give you some interesting websites.
