Jai Shri Mataji,
We can all feel the love and excitement of the Puja in our beings now as yogis travel from all over the world to attend this momentous event. We look forward to meeting each other at the Lotus feet of our Beloved Mother.
Some of us have some questions about the transportation and stay at LA. Please review the answers below as they could help you with the queries.
Question: Is there a website for the Krishna Puja where we need to register?
Answer: We are not pre-registering this year. All registration would be done on arrival at the hotel. However the website for Shri Krishna Puja Information is: http://www.sahajayoga.org/krishna
Question: We are arriving late on Friday; will there be a booth for registration?
Answer: Yes, Please contact the Sahaja Yoga Information / Hospitality group at the Hotel, and they will register you.
Question: What is the cost of registration and does that include Dakshina?
Answer: The cost details have been posted at the website: http://www.sahajayoga.org/krishna . Please check it on the site.
Question: Will it be same even if I come for just Puja?
Answer: Yes, the cost of the puja event is a fixed amount.
Question: Will it be the same even if I do not stay in Hotel?
Answer: Yes the cost will be the same.
Question: What is the name of the Hotel and its address?
Answer: Here are all the hotel details
Question: Is there any discounted rate or place (other than Marriott hotel) if I arrive early or stay after Puja?
Answer: The discounted rate of $ 99 Plus tax (14, 5%) will be available three days before and three days after the Puja. The hotel allows up to four yogis per room. Yogis arriving early or staying late can share the cost with other yogis, please contact the registration / hospitality team BEFORE you reserve or take the room key.
Question: Whom shall we call once we arrive at the airport?
Answer: If you are using the shuttle or rental car, please proceed directly to the hotel. However if you are volunteer from the hosting countries coming early, please call Ravindra at 408-393-2569
Question: I am not renting a car. Is there a shuttle service?
Answer: We have a discounted rate from “Super Shuttle”. Please check the transportation section of our website for details. Please remember to print TWO copies of the discount coupons from the website, so you can use one coupon on arrival and another for departure.
Question: How can I help in Puja preparations and any other task?
Answer: Please get in touch with the registration / Hospitality team at the hotel. Or before arriving send an email to jpatpatia@gmail.com.
Question: Will the coupons for the Super Shuttle be effective before Friday and after Monday?
Answer: Yes they will be effective before and after the Puja.
Question: Is a shuttle bus from the LA airport to the hotel? And from other airports too?
Answer: The Shuttle is available from LAX and Burbank airports onlyQuestion: What if I am staying at different place than the Warner Center Marriott hotel?Answer: You will have to make arrangements for the drop off and pick ups as the agreement with shuttle does not cover other locations.
Question: Where and how can rent a car?
Answer: You can rent a car at the LAX airport. You can make reservations directly with companies like Avis, Hertz, National, Budget, etc.
Question: What are the other cheaper options for stay and transportation?
Answer: In case you need help with other options please contact LACOUNCIL@sahajayoga.la and they will try to help you with the stay. For yogis of the hosting countries, who are coming early to help with puja preparations, please sent an email to armentuner@yahoo.com for transportation help Please specify your name, destination, number of yogis, airline, flight number and scheduled arrival?
Question: What is the number to call for shuttle?
Answer: For calling in advance call (800) 224 7767. From the airport, you could use the hospitality phones in the airport lobby for Super Shuttle. For pickup also please call (800) 224 7767 at least 24 hour in Advance. You may also book online at www.supershuttle.com, simply enter your group code “WRNP8” in group code field and receive your discount in advance (coupon not necessary in van).
