Dear Family!
Your Russian brothers and sisters would like to share the news about
the project launched for the advancement of the Pure Universal
Knowledge of Sahaja Yoga in our country.
Millions of seekers were born at our time with the only aim – to get
their Self-Realization and to unite with the All-Pervading Divine
Power. During 35 years Shri Mataji was doing this great work alone
saving our souls, curing our bodies and filling our hearts with love.
And now a new stage has been reached when the Goddess is passing this
responsibility on Her children. Thanks to Mother’s Love and
Compassion, we have brothers and sisters almost in 100 countries of
the world. And now it is much easier for us to take up this new
responsibility as our Sahaja family is already very big.
In Russia, there are a bit more than 1000 cities and towns with the
population over 3000 people and there is Sahaja Yoga in almost 200 of
them. There is a huge number of cities and towns where Sahaja Yoga has
not been heard of yet. Our task, the task of each and every yogi/ni in
our Russian family, is to bring the message about the Pure Knowledge
to these places. The “1000 Petals” Project (the name symbolizes 1000
cities and towns of Russia: each is unique but together they form a
single multi-colour bud) is meant to coordinate the work of Sahaja
Yoga advancement in Russia and make it easier. The minimum goal of
this project is to hold public programs in each of 1000 cities and
towns and then to support the interested seekers with regular programs
for newcomers to create, at least, one Sahaja Yogi/ni in these
cities/towns.
For the present moment, in Russia, there are almost 100 City Sahaja
Councils with 800 members in total. According to the “1000 Petals”
Project, each member of the City Councils should take the
responsibility for one or two other cities/towns where there is no
Sahaja Yoga yet, help organize programs there and, in the future, keep
up connection with the seekers who have got Self-Realization till the
time when they become Yogis/is. The Member of the Council can create a
team of the Yogis/Yoginis from the collective that will support him
advancing Sahaja Yoga in a certain place. It was announced about the
launch of this Project at the Russian National Sahaja seminar in July,
2006. And many Russian collectives have started acting according to
the suggested scheme. The National Council helps Russian city
collectives to realize this project and also coordinates the work.
For all of us to have an opportunity to watch how the development of
the project is going on, i.e. how the advancement of Sahaja Yoga is
going on in certain cities/towns, a web-site
http://pr1000.sahajayoga.ru/ has been created especially for the needs
of this project and a person responsible for the updating of the
information on the site has been chosen in each collective. All the
Russian cities the population of which is 3000 people or more are
listed on the web-site not depending on the fact whether there is
Sahaja Yoga there or not. The database of the information system also
allows keeping and watching the data about each city/town where Sahaja
Yoga has come to already, and namely:
- Coordinator for SY advancement in the city/town;
- His/her address, phone number, e-mail;
- Web-site address (if the collective has its own web-site);
- Schedule and address of the weekly progams for the ones who would
like to start practicing Sahaja Yoga;
- Announcements of the forthcoming Self-Realization programs which are
going to be held in a certain city/town, or Region, or all over
Russia;
- Chronology of the previous programs (to see the activity of the
collectives in spreading SY).
On the days of Shri Ganesha Puja and Navratri Puja which were offered
in America in September, 2006 we were blessed with several
unforgettable meetings with Shri Mataji and Sir C.P. that took place
in their house in LA. We spoke about all the events which were taking
place in Russia, asked Shri Mataji for Her blessings for the projects
started by the Russian Sahaja Yogis. When we were talking about the
Project “1000 Petals” created by the Russian Council to facilitate the
advancement of Sahaja Yoga in Russia, Sir C.P. even applauded and said
that it is the most important project going on in Russia now and
Mother granted us with Her blessings for the successful development of
the project and creation of new Sahaja Centers in Russia.
This global project for the advancement of Sahaja Yoga should help
open the collective Aghia Chakra of the planet and make a contribution
into the universal process of Sahaja Yoga advancement and
acknowledgment of the Great Incarnation of this time – Shri Adi Shakti
Nirmala Devi.
