Following the success of last summer’s academy dedicated to the arts in Cabella, this year’s edition promises yet again to exceed all expectations!
Directed by experienced and accomplished teachers from the PK Salve Kala Pratishthan and from Theatre of Eternal Values, the Academy promises to transform World Centre in Cabella into a focal point for sahaj music, dance, theatre, arts and crafts over the summer period.
We hope to welcome back many of last year’s 150 participants wishing to deepen their knowledge and expertise in eastern and western art forms. One of the most popular features of the academy experience is the opportunity to attend more than one course in a variety of disciplines. As well as the advanced stream for return students, there will be many new courses: Indian miniature painting, nature painting, sculpture and Western classical dance.
In anticipation of a large influx of yogis of all ages wishing to embark on this collective and creative adventure, we are making arrangements to fit in even more of you. The Arts Academy will be one of the first groups to benefit form the renovation and extension of Centrassi undertaken by the World Foundation; the local school in Cabella is also being hired for classes. Nourishing meals will be cooked and served on site and course learning resources will be available.
