The Sydney University Medical Foundation recently bestowed a prestigious award to the Meditation Research Programme at the Royal Hospital for Women, Sydney.
The Dr Bernard Lake Memorial Award for best scientific research into alternative medicine was awarded to Dr Ramesh Manocha and the research project titled "Sahaja Yoga in the Management of Moderate to Severe Asthma".
The award includes $2,000 in prize money which will be used for further meditation research projects. It is an important positive step for the mainstream recognition of Sahaja Yoga meditation. |
