Dear brothers and sisters,
By now you will all have heard of the World Foundation, an organisation with international reach which aims to gather and mobilise resources for the advancement of Sahaja Yoga in the world. The scope of the Foundation is extensive and varied, from the development of the properties in Cabella into a world centre for Sahaja Yoga, to the restoration, preservation and global distribution of Shri Mataji’s video and audio speeches, and even the management of a Sahaja Yoga school. The selection of and the priorities given to projects has been decided upon by a board of directors, made up of Sahaja Yogis from all over the world, of which Shri Mataji is the Chair person. Success depends on our ability to mobilise resources from within the Sahaja Yoga community.
By the grace of Shri Mataji, we have been allowed to mark the occasion of Her birthday with the international collection of funds for the Foundation, this year and in future years. It is an occasion for us express our love and devotion for our Divine Mother by supporting the institution set up by Her for the global advancement of Sahaja Yoga.
As you know, in Sahaja Yoga there is no formal system of taxation other than the voluntary donations of its members. Very rarely do funds come from outside this community so we are heavily reliant of the generosity and commitment of a relatively small group of people. Nevertheless, we are sure that if every single yogi participates, even a modest contribution, a “token”, from each individual will allow us to ‘collectively’ gather a handsome amount.
Below is some information about how you can make your donation. There are several different options so you can choose the one that suits you best. However, please try and make sure that your contribution reaches us before the 2008 Birthday Puja. We are convinced that it will be a source of great pride to Shri Mataji to know that Her birthday was the inspiration behind the generosity of Her children.
- Pay directly by bank transfer into the account of the Foundation. Click here to access the bank details of the Foundation.
- Click here to make an online donation directly from the Foundation website.
- Bring your donation to the Birthday Puja in India and deposit the amount with the people at the Foundation stand.
- Give your donation to your national coordinator (or delegated person) who will make sure the money reaches the Foundation in time.
