Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We are looking for a qualified primary school teachers to help set up and run the new English-medium Sahaja Yoga Primary School in Cabella (Italy). This is a great opportunity to apply your professional skills in a Sahaja Yoga environment and to be a part of Shri Mataji’s vision of enlightened childcare and education.
Qualifications and Skills
Ideal candidates need to have:
- a valid primary school teacher qualification
- at least three years experience working as a teacher
- a good command of the English language
- good communication skills and the ability to relate well to students and adults, including parents and other members of staff
- an understanding of a range of cultures
- organisational, time-management and problem-solving skills
- research and computer skills
It is preferred that candidates have some of experience of the IBO curriculum
Personal Qualities
Ideal candidates need to be:
- established Sahaja Yogis
- dedicated to educating children
- able to develop good relationships with children
- tolerant, understanding and patient
- supportive, caring and kind
- friendly, approachable and good at listening
- creative and adaptable
- positive, enthusiastic and able to motivate
- flexible
- fair, firm and decisive
Working Conditions
Successful candidates will be offered a full-time teaching contract and would be expected to transfer to the vicinity of Cabella Ligure (Italy).
