Exactly thirteen years ago on this day of 19 th February 1996 our most holy Mother Shri Mataji blessed the world by inaugurating the International Sahaja Yoga Research and Health Centre as a gift to humanity. Today, the popularity of this unique Health Centre has grown in such a multifold dimension by the blessings of Shri Mataji that the current infrastructure of the Centre has become insufficient to host the ever- increasing number of yogis from all over the world. Reminiscing the holy words of Shri Mataji,
Dr. Sandeep Rai, Hon. Director of Research and Development of this Health Centre shared that once Shri Mataji in an informal communication commented that ‘this place will become the Kashi for the Yogis one day’ (speaking on the geographical location of ‘Vashi’ that resembles phonetically with ‘Kashi’- the most holy pilgrimage for Lord Shiva in India) .Since then the place is more popularly known as Vashi Hospital although geographically situated in CBD , Belapur, Navi Mumbai, India. |
