Dear Brothers and Sisters,
In the five days between Krishna Puja and Ganesha Puja we expect a large number of sahaja yogis to remain in Cabella to attend both events. We would like to make the most of this opportunity and invite you to participate in a festival which involves performances of theatre, dance and music every evening and, during the day, a schedule for seminars, workshops and other events on a whole range of topics.
It will be a great collective event, full of joy and exuberance; but also a profoundly spiritual experience in which each one of us can deepen the connection with our beloved Mother and reflect on how to better bring Sahaja Yoga to the seekers of this world.
Registration
We anticipate that large numbers of yogis will want to come to Cabella in that period. In order to allow us to plan properly for the occasion it is important for us to accurately estimate the number of particpants, especially if we are to feed everyone.
We therefore request you to register for the event by visiting the ‘Useful Information’ section of our website www.sahajaworldfoundation.org and completing the registration form asap.
Accommodation
At no charge, people will be accommodated, in rudimentary style, in the marquee near the hangar. People are also be free to pitch their own tents. Toilet and washing facilities will be available. Bring a sleeping bag and, if required, a mattress.
People looking for hotel accommodation must make their own arrangements.
People staying in or around the hangar before and after the festival will be expected to pay € 5 for accommodation.
Food
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided, Monday to Friday. Each day a different group of countries will take charge of the kitchen. Everyone, whoever you are, is requested to take a turn in the kitchen, cooking and serving the food and, most importantly, contributing to a mood of collectivity, which is the essence of the festival.
The schedule we propose for the kitchen is as follows:
- Monday 17/08: The Americas, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Iran, Netherlands, Russia, Spain, UK
- Tuesday 18/08: Austria, Belgium, Finland, Iceland, Japan, Poland, Slovakia, Switzerland, Ukraine
- Wednesday 19/08: Australia, Africa, Denmark, Hungary, Israel, Norway, Singapore, Sweden and the Baltics, Turkey
- Thursday 20/08: Italy, Cyprus, Greece, Indonesia, New Zealand, Romania, South Africa, Thailand
- Friday 21/08: France, China, Germany, India, Malaysia, Portugal, Slovenia, Taiwan, Vietnam
If your country is not listed please join in wherever you wish.
Cost
The only cost of the festival is for food:
Breakfast: € 2.00
Lunch: € 3.00
Dinner: € 4.00
Participants will be provided with food vouchers and will need to present them in order to be served meals. Special concessions on the price are not possible as we are providing the food at cost.
Finally, we would like to say that you are invited to the festival, not as a guest, but as a member of our global Sahaja Yoga family. So please do not stand on ceremony and feel free to chip in and help wherever you feel it is needed. Together we can make this a profound and memorable experience for everyone.
