Jai Shri Mataji!
Dearest brothers and sisters,
By the grace of Shri Mataji, on the weekend of April 2-4, representatives from six of the Sahaja schools
around the world met for the first Sahaja Yoga Education World Seminar. Our desire was to work towards
creating a collective vision of "Sahaj education" and to increase collaboration and communication
between the schools.

We soon realized that our understanding of Sahaj education will grow and develop over the years.
Through increased sharing of experiences and information, we can support one another in this learning
process. We found that each school has a sister school with many similarities and form natural
collaborative teams: The International Sahaja Public School at Dharamsala with the Cabella
International Sahaja School; Borotin Kindergarten with the International Sahaja School at
Canajoharie; and Vancouver Sahaja Middle School with the Brookside Farm School in the U.K.
These schools will connect their students through pen-pals, skype sessions, and eventually student and
teacher visits and exchanges. Staff will share documents and ideas and as a whole, the group of schools
will work towards eventually developing a Sahaj curriculum and a common code of practice.
By the end of the weekend, what stood out most for all of us was that Sahaj education is unique because
of the bond of love and trust between teachers and students and amongst all of us involved in the schools
projects. In order to strengthen and further expand this bond, we would like to invite any other Sahaj
schools to contact us and join in this collective growth.
Team members were invited to meet briefly with Sir C.P., President of ISPS Board of Trustees, who
re-emphasized how the education projects were of utmost importance to Shri Mataji and offered his
encouragement and support for all our projects and initiatives.
The seminar ended on the auspicious day of Gudi Padwa with a small puja offered to Our Holy Mother's Lotus Feet.
