Merry Christmas to you all...(There was a pause followed by an excited applause by Sahaja Yogis)". According to Sahaja Yoga Christ is settled on your Agnya Chakra. His entire life depicts the qualities of a person, who is a realized soul. What He suggested is His life is that you should not have any greed or lust" as Mother addressed us in the Christmas Puja. She continued, "
These days the people are extremely greedy all over the world. This is what is most shocking". Mother said that right from childhood if you see a child, you will find he keeps on asking for something or the other, like the greed, that goes on and on without any satisfaction. "These days India has also become westernized and wanting to have this and that". She remarked that, actually in America these days, what is happening is that, their want is so much that at last they come to spirituality, as they are not satisfied. She further said that we should remember that Christ was born a poor person in a cradle covered in grass. He sacrificed His life on the Cross-. It was because; He had the power of the Spirit.
The greatness of Christ came from His spirituality. The same Christ is worshipped all over the world, especially, in the western country. But, all run after something or else or the other just to show off like by putting cross. It shows hypocrisy and the greed is expressed through their family members. She expressed Her displeasure as She said " Now in India also they have started doing the same thing". It is surprising that in country like America, people are making big money and are supposed to be disciples of Christ. India once upon a time was a saintly country and now in India also people have fallen down with greed. But, surprisingly, those who follow Christ also have greed these days.
Christ was a great incarnation. His power of sacrifice was tremendous. Today people do not have these qualities within them. He was crucified as poor man and He was born poor. So, who are running after money are in no way Christians. He understood all the poor and stood with them. She said,"What Christianity doing in this country I heard from many places, how they are converting others to Christianity. Christ tried to give transformation. He never tried to change people around" Mother said I am worried about my disciple. "One of the principle of Sahaja is to help. You are to help people those who are downtrodden. You have to give them self- realization, if you have to save the country or the world, you have to rise and develop a temperament of helping from within yourself. I am very happy for those who help without wanting to awards". She felt pained that people are making money these days.
On the subject of sacrifice, Mother cited example of great leaders and also the noble people and their sacrifices during the freedom struggle for their Nations. But expressed pain as She observed, that these days the children of those great leaders are trying to make money instead. She said, it is unfortunate that the Christian Nations are the ones, who do not follow Christ.., whose prime objective was sacrifice. She however reminded us that, it is not that one should not go out for making money for livelihood, but can we not sacrifice a little bit of our comfort. Sahaja Yogis have to be extremely kind and loving and understanding the problems and then try to help as many people. Even Sahaja Yogis do not understand that they are in the same path as Christ was. So they also should feel the qualities of sacrifice of Christ. It is to remove our Agnya, to remove our ego and fight against it. He is a very great message for all of us who are realized souls.
Referring to the subject of NGO Mother said "My mind is always with the needy and the destitute" She said that recently She had started a project for sheltering the forsaken and destitute women in Delhi (India) raising most of the funds Herself towards the development of the same. She said the maximum of the destitute women were from Muslim community. And She felt that this should be brought forth before the humanity to extend their heartfelt self-less helps. She advised all of us (Sahaja Yogis) that we should not live for ourselves only; we should also try to help these needy person. So that they could say that Sahaja Yogis have helped them.
She expressed that we the Sahaja Yogis should do something for the destitute. Mother continued saying that poor people here make my heart wrench in pain. You should make out ways and means to help people and you are capable of helping the people with the Mahalaxmi principle. They are not Sahaja Yogis. But please go out and help them. She said of course no body would like to have the kind of life Christ had, but one should be of helping nature and full of compassion towards the needy and poor and destitute. Thus Mother again said that, those who are greedy. they are greedy forever for all the time. We should think what we could do for the people. We are Sahaja Yogis, we have to face the way saints had to face. You must eradicate problems like saints. She continued saying "...today is a great joy for us as we are celebrating Christ's Birth, but he underwent so much of torture and absorbed so much of pains because of the wrong doings for the things that were wrong. He created Christians and the Christianity." So, Mother reminded us that when we are celebrating His birthday we should celebrate His sacrificing capacity. She said all the Sahaja Yogis are good but the greed still lingers on...
On the subject of greed, Shri Mataji cited a very interesting news from the world of Corporateers (Sounded like this spell) and a heart wrenching episode from America. She said that in America recently they had identified a Corporateer who owned 25 airplanes and 50 cars. At last everything was confiscated from him. He felt he was enjoying with those 25 airplanes and 50 cars. It was all that greed of acquiring materials .So whenever one has so much of greed every thing shall finish off someday. It happens especially with people who have greed.
Then, She cited another example where there was a very wealthy old man who married a very young lady. The old man dies after sometime and leaves behind his billions of worth assets. After his death his son comes for the claim of his fathers assets. So both the wife and the son lands up in court and the lady demands the billions of worth property. In fact there is no satisfaction anywhere. She said " so they are wanting money and comfort all the time. They do not know how to sacrifice.
She referred to the sacrifices of Gandhiji as how he sacrificed for the needy and the poor. She asked us " have you been a noble person?. Ask yourself. have you tried to help others? One must see the life of Christ. He lived in poverty but He was king of kings" "He was one person we should follow. How many of us are trying to become like that? Don't be like the Corporateers (Sounded like this spell, please check from original version) , because, you are Sahaja Yogis. Let Me hear stories who are giving love and compassion Christ was such a glorious Sahaja Yogi".
Shri Mataji then narrated Her own experience referring to the limits of greediness of certain Sahaja Yogis. She revealed that sometime in past ,certain Sahaja Yogi took the advantage of Her compassion and love and took away money from Her. Eventually, what happened was, they fell into trouble So She warned that one has to learn Christ. She said that, She was born in a Christian Family, but She found people were so mean minded. Thus, She said " Stupidity must be stopped. Sahaja Yogis do not do such things."
Shri Mataji said that unfortunately, even in Sahaja Yoga people are seen to be money oriented. They even tried to befool Her. She said what money could mean to Her? All such persons shall eventually be ruined and "such people making money shall be out of Sahaja Yoga ". It is very sad She remarked. She advised all of us that " You should be above money. You will never have problems." All the time one should feel the essence of satisfaction.
She further advised that we have to introspect and be satiated or else there is no use of getting the self- realization. "Take example of Christ for building up your character."
