"The foundation stone of spiritual life is Shri Ganesha. That is why I have been very anxious that we should find proper schools for our children. They should have a proper education and they should be looked after because their Ganesha Tattwa is already there. The only thing, we have to nourish it. We have to look after it and make it grow. Once that happens then the children are safe."

Jai Shri Mataji
Dear parents, brothers and sisters,
As we approach the start of our fourth school year we are now finalising student placements for the new school term. This year we have restructured the educational classes offered and will limit the upper class to grade 8 but at the same time offer a new grade 3 class in response to parent requests. Altogether the school can accommodate up to 15 students.
There are currently 5 places available. Please see below for details on how to apply.
Students are asked to be in the school by Friday September 9th to give time to settle in, with classes beginning from Monday September 12th. For the coming academic year students will be able to return home during Christmas holidays for 2 weeks, although the Spring/Easter break will take place in the school itself without classes.
What began as a sincere idea of the heart, to embark on the journey to establish a school, has now grown outward in so many directions. And while the true blossoms are always the students, our children, it is our entire family and the land that we live in, who simultaneously benefit. It is not only our students who are learning, but also all of us, the adults, the uncles, the aunties, the mums and dads, everyone, every step of the way.
Over the last three years the school has enrolled a total of 21 students between the ages of 7 and 14 from 6 North American cities, supported over the years by over 25 Sahaja Yogis that include teachers, dorm staff, cooking, administration and more. The results can only be measured in the faces and vibrations of each student and the changes that have occurred from inside that support, nourish and strengthen each individual as they grow up into adults and establish themselves as deep and strong Sahaja Yogis. A unique quality of a Sahaj school is the special opportunity for children to grow together in a collective Sahaj environment, beyond any conditionings or cultures of the home.
We have an amazing opportunity to do the greatest good for our children and the future of Sahaj and of this world by following the guidance of our Guru for them. The Goddess has worked out so many "miracles" over the last few years to make the school happen, but now it is our turn. Without full commitment, the opportunity will pass and it will be a great loss for all of us.
Before we go, we've created a photo slideshow of the school to share with you from our experiences together, learning and growing up at the school which you can see here. A website for the school is also forthcoming, later this year.
