Jai Shri Mataji !
We are writing to share some good news about our beloved International Sahaja Yoga School ISPS, one of our most crucially important Sahaja institutions, given its long history of contribution in making this world a better place by helping to create so many better Yogis throughout the world .
One of the clear measures of outstanding success is growth. Where there is truly inspired Sahaja leadership and Our Mothers Love pervades the school then the numbers steadily grow with more students wanting to come, and the current children staying on. Under the current ISPS leadership we are seeing year on annual growth of 15% in student numbers. This is a commendation to the ISPS Management team and Board of Governors who as a team are trying to do their best each and every day for our school.
Catering for the success of ISPS, for future growth, and the increasing demand for places at the school. A program for further work is under way to add a new dormitory building to ISPS which will lift the capacity of our school to 400 students. This is aimed to be fully effective at the beginning of the academic session 2013. This will bring to a maximum the number of students who can be accommodated at the Talnoo campus.
With the ever increasing demand for places at ISPS we may soon be faced with a choice around if the school can continue to expand beyond a size to accommodate 400 students.
Sir CP has lead a long renovation program for ISPS over a number of years to modernise, refurbish and develop Talnoo. A number of years ago he placed a challenge to the Management team: " that if there was one child who wanted a Sahaja education, then is it our solemn duty and obligation to all our children that we would do everything within our powers to ensure that every born realised Sahaja child who so desires, can receive a enlightened Sahaja education " .
The decision has now be taken that new land be sought in the vicinity of the school to establish a second ISPS Campus as close to the Talnoo site as possible. This would be considered a longer term strategy to cater for the needs for future expansion for ISPS. This by necessity would need a major commitment in terms of capital investment, infrastructure, management focus, drive, and vision.
We are pleased to announce that the proposal for acquiring new lands for future expansion was discussed and has been approved by our ISPS Governing Body who met on 19th Nov 2011.
We now have a few concrete proposals which are being investigated. The ISPS capacity of 400 students will be fully effective beginning academic session 2013. We are aiming to focus all necessary efforts and expertise to having a new ISPS campus ready by academic year 2015 / 2016, with the blessings and grace of Our Beloved Mother.
On behalf of the collective we acknowledge the efforts Sir CP, the ISPS Governing Body and Management team for their effort to assist Shri Mataji's vision for Her International Sahaja Yoga School
Sincerely Chris Kyriacou
