Dear sisters and brothers,
Volunteering for the Foundation in Cabella can be an amazing life experience, not only for you but also for the brothers and sisters you work with. It is also immensely valuable for the Foundation. It is a great way to have a fantastic time, broaden your experience of Sahaja Yoga, at the same time as doing something useful.
The Work
Volunteers are mainly involved in the upkeep and maintenance of the Foundation properties and the hosting of international pujas and other events in Cabella, such as the Arts Academy, Daglio Children’s Camp, Wellness Camp and so on. The period of stay can anything from a week to 3 months … sometimes more.
In particular, we are also looking for someone who can come and stay in Cabella for 3 to 6 months over the summer period who can work in the Foundation office and manage the Foundation stall, selling Sahaja Yoga DVDs and Books at pujas and other events. The candidate should have basic computer skills, a working knowledge of English and be fit and able to move boxes of books and DVDs from the warehouse to the stalls at puja time.
As you can see, there is a lot going on in Cabella this year. We rely on your support in order to provide these services to our collective.
The Lifestyle
As a volunteer you will live in Shri Mataji’s castle, as part of an international collective of yogis and yoginis. Interacting and working with people from all over the world will teach you valuable lessons about yourself and your growth, just as others will benefit from their contact with you.
Life in Shri Mataji’s castle is organized as a Sahaja Yoga Ashram where the focus is on deepening our meditation and looking after our attention and vibrations. It is also a place of work, where the days are structured and we learn to express our devotion and love for Shri Mataji through service to the collective.
